BWB Secures Strategic Partnership With Global Village, to Scale the Operations of Borderless, the Podcast

Ibadan, Nigeria — Boys Without Borders Nigeria, a boy-child advocacy organization focused on molding boys into functional men in a boy-child-needs-aware society, has secured a strategic partnership with Global Village, a media company with a portfolio of leading podcasts including Loose Talk and 234 Essential.

The partnership, secured on Saturday, August 10, 2024, will enable Boys Without Borders to scale the operations of its podcast, Borderless, giving access to resources and a team of experts to solidify production, distribution, and podcast management.

Speaking on the significance of the partnership, Boys Without Borders’ Director of Media and Communication, Theophilus Alawonde, acknowledged the criticality of this partnership to the continued existence and what it means for the growth of Borderless.

“Borderless has been an avenue for us to engage society and men on critical topics relating to the boy-child, with the belief that molding boys into functional men depends hugely on having a sane society and men with the right knowledge and mindset on who a functional and wholesome man should be. Borderless started out of a need and as a small project.

This incredible partnership would allow us to scale the operations of Borderless and reach more people, bringing us closer to one of our core desires at Boys Without Borders; making impacts. We are grateful to the Global Village team for recognizing the importance of what we do and making this critical contribution to its growth and spread,” Alawonde said.

This partnership speaks to the commitment of Global Village to building podcast initiatives that people not only love but also learn from, as revealed by Osagie Alonge, C.E.O. of Global Village.

“We are thrilled to support Boys Without Borders through our partnership with Global Village. Together, we’re committed to expanding the reach of the Borderless podcast, making a positive impact on young men everywhere,” Osagie said.

Thanks to this partnership, future episodes of the Borderless podcast will be managed under the Global Village umbrella.
