Our Campus Networks

Boys Without Borders was founded in a campus environment with most of its early members being undergraduates.

Most universities in Nigeria have an age requirement within ages 14 – 16, an age range that tallies with one of our audience segments. Therefore, our campus networks avail undergraduates the opportunity to volunteer their services towards impact in society.

Our campus networks work collaboratively with the Directorate for Volunteer Engagement and Campus Networks to ensure that Boys Without Borders’ commitment to impact and reach is being spread to the grassroots.

Boys Without Borders,  University of Ibadan Campus Network

Boys Without Borders-UI is the inaugural campus network of Boys Without Borders.

Aiming for the grassroots of representation, BWB-UI seeks to tackle the issues plaguing the boy-child by raising awareness one outreach at a time, be it the UI campus, a secondary school, or a community.

By leveraging the enabling environment of a school campus, BWB-UI dispels stereotypes and recruits more agents for change in our societies.

Boys Without Borders,  Obafemi Awolowo University Campus Network

Boys Without Borders-OAU is the second (in time only) campus network of Boys Without Borders. Born like a child of promise, to serve the cause of the boy child, our mission spans the raising of functional men in the locale of the cradle of Yorubaland. By doing it one boy at a time, either through a school, community, in house, campus or online campaigns, BWB OAU follows a set standard of social impact, Boys Without Borders embodies.

Our amazing volunteers, also known as border breakers, are able to achieve all this with the leadership of our campus directors, and through our various sub teams.

Our Activities

On certain days, we facilitate direct school outreaches, to connect with boys directly, and aid to shape their functionality in a society that could otherwise let them slip through the cracks. One of such days was the 8th of May 2025, when we had an outreach at Moremi High School, Ile Ife. Our outreach was an attempt to do the unusual, and stir in the hearts of tomorrow’s men, the blueprint for functionality that our society desperately needs. Safe to say, post outreach both the minds of the boys and our volunteers, were fixed on the insight, that, great things can be done from small places.

Digital Campaigns

The digital space is a playground for content of all kinds, and at BWB OAU, we make sure there’s space left for intentional content stirring conversations and shaping culture. We took this belief to reality by spinning the festive spirit of the Christmas holidays, to a movement that took time out to enlighten people to light up the faces the boys around them.
